My client is a specialist investment management organisation focusing its investments on an exciting and emerging market. They currently have investments totalling just over £100m but are growing rapidly and expect to add a further £100m of new assets in the coming year.

As the finance function has previously been outsourced this is a newly created role and will appeal to someone who wants to make the department their own and who would be inspired by the prospect of joining an organisation in the early stages of its development.

You should have significant experience of preparing monthly management accounts, business plans, forecasts and budgets. You will also be required to prepare FSA regulatory returns. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who has previous experience either as a finance manager or senior financial/management accountant from a fund or asset management background.
