This major multi-site customer facing business has effected a sensational turnaround since its acquisition three years ago. They are now acclaimed as a dominant force within global retailing in the 21st Century. As a key element of their growth they wish to appoint a talented ex- Management Consultant / retail finance professional to join their team.
Acting as the lunch-pin between Strategy and the Buying Directors, the role is to optimise negotiated outcomes with suppliers, in both food and non-food. This will not be not only through developing and implementing operating plans for each category, but also through introducing best practice, leveraging market insight from external providers and contributing to the Company's strategic planning.
Experience in a buying and /or financial analysis environment, combined with a strong consultative skill set will be key, as is the motivation to live and work in Australia. An MBA/ACMA/MBA or similar qualification would be advantageous.
