Our client is a FTSE 100 retailer with a number of profitable European subsidiaries. The business has experienced consistent growth & increased revenue over the past decade & maintained a stable business model over the last 18 months. The business now aims to continue its dominant position in the marketplace, with plans to open 200 new stores over the next year & push ahead with its growth strategy across the United States.

Working as a Senior Auditor Manager, you will lead a small, efficient audit team in the UK and play a key part in conducting audits of key business processes & controls. You will assist in formulating corporate audit plans, manage key risks & audit change programmes across the business, in line with corporate strategy.

This is a highly varied & operationally focused audit role, giving you immediate exposure to the Senior Manager team, the Audit Committee and key stakeholders. You can expect career progression in this role within 18 months, into a either a senior line finance or a Divisional Head of Audit position.

Candidates are likely to be Big 4 trained, Chartered accountant with a proven track record of adding value through an audit function. You must be a pro-active, ambitious individual with significant exposure to both financial & operational audits & a highly developed commercial acumen. You will need to have a proven ability to lead a team of qualified accountants & conduct key audits using risk-based audit methodology.
