EM Financial Services works with a number of Global and European investment banks together with boutique advisory houses, private equity partnerships and asset managers.

EM has retained and exclusive relationships with clients and focuses on delivering high quality candidates in the following areas:

Private Equity / Venture Capital
We have nearly two decades’ relationships with Private Equity and Venture Capital houses ranging from Global Buy-out funds to sector specialist Investors. As well as representing experienced principal investors for Director and Managing Director roles, EM has also successfully introduced top-rated ACAs, Investment bankers and strategy consultants to both investment and portfolio roles.

Alternative Investments

EM represents some of the most respected companies within alternative asset management and long only funds. Clients are within event driven, distressed debt, convertibles and long/short strategies. Being a notoriously hard industry to enter, candidates will generally require a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a related field.

 

Corporate Finance

Our activities are focused across Coverage, M&A and Leveraged Finance. Candidates will display well developed financial skills (modelling & valuation) and strong commercial awareness. It is also commonplace to require additional European languages. In addition, senior professionals will display proven management skills coupled with a demonstrable track record in fee generation.


Capital Markets

EM covers both the Debt and Equity Capital Market groups for our clients, principally focused on Origination, Securitisation and Syndication. Our clients include top-tier investment banks and financing houses which require professionals to have excellent analytical skills, coupled with demonstrable product knowledge.

 

Derivatives Structuring

EM has considerable experience providing services across the Derivatives Structuring market for top tier investment banks in Europe and Asia. We have extensive relationships across the sector and have recruited for a wide range of positions at all levels.

Successful candidates will generally require excellent academics in a mathematical discipline and a minimum of one year's experience working within the derivatives market.

 

Research

Covering both Equity and Fixed Income we represent investment banks, boutiques and 'buy side' houses. This is a highly analytical position with extensive client / company contact. It has proven to be an attractive sector for exceptional junior accountants and industry professionals with extensive operational and finance experience.
